Over $50,000 in Scholarships Awarded to Six (6) of New Jersey’s Students
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Over 350 Workers’ Compensation professionals from across New Jersey came together for a special night on Thursday, July 17th to present over $50,000 in Scholarship’s to six(6) of New Jersey’s own. Each of the scholarship recipients had a parent that catastrophically injured in a work-related accident. The Second Annual Gala was held this past summer at the Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick, N.J.
Kids’ Chance of New Jersey provides educational funding to kids of New Jersey workers who have been fatally or catastrophically injured in a work-related accident.

Kids’ Chance of New Jersey is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012. The educational scholarships are provided throughout the year to the sons and daughters of New Jersey workers who have been fatally or catastrophically injured in a work-related accident, resulting in financial hardship. More than four million workplace injuries occur in the United States each year, with approximately one million of those resulting in a disabling injury and 5,000 resulting in death.
“Through Kids’ Chance of New Jersey, we are able to eliminate financial obstacles for these very deserving students who are trying to achieve their educational dreams,” said Dr. Charles Gatto, President of the New Jersey Chapter.
Funds raised at the First Annual Kids’ Chance of New Jersey Inaugural Gala will contribute to future scholarships.
